Butterfly Health and Wellness Coaching Rebrand by Rapunzel Creative Marketing

Located in Montvale, New Jersey, Butterfly Health and Wellness Coaching originally launched their business with a logo from an online stock logo service. The company website had a bare-bones website format using a platform and template provided by a health coaching school. Rapunzel Creative was hired to work with Owner and Health Coach Karin Haddy to create a marketing strategy and plan to improve the company brand and grow the business.

Working closely with Karin we began by 1)defining the business identity, 2)pinpointing the target market and 3)creating a long-term marketing plan. Our goal in developing the business identity was to capture the owner’s personality and have all the marketing materials reflect her energy, approachability, joy and passion for healthy eating and living.

Our first recommendation was to make changes to the logo. The existing logo, created through an online stock logo service, was imbalanced and when printed the business name appeared too small in relation to the design. When added to flyers or even a business card the small text disappeared.

By rebalancing the text and design, the logo can be printed small with the text still visible. The repositioning of the butterfly icon to the back of the lettering creates a sense of motion and better balances the logo overall.

To provide a push to her business we launched several projects simultaneously. We created an event flyer template that the company could use to promote upcoming seminars. This template could be easily updated by the owner for each new event. At the same time, we began to build a new website and online presence for the company. The original site was on the domain name: ButterflyHealthandWellnessCoaching.com. To make site access more user-friendly, we shortened the domain to ButterflyHWC.com. The new Butterfly Health and Wellness Coaching site includes a front page slider, a blog, recipes, events calendar, social links, seminar registration, shopping cart, testimonials, press, email sign-up, contact form, BookFresh and a QR reader.

Karin’s company Butterfly Health and Wellness Coaching quickly became busy with seminars and presentations at local schools and businesses along with increased bookings by new clients. With the increase in activity, it was time to redesign her brochure. Rather than the traditional trifold brochure, we wanted to create something unique and eye-catching that allowed for brightly colored photos. A half-fold or booklet style brochure was created for the client featuring an image of a woman leaping into the air, representing the vitality and energy clients gain through the wellness counseling offered by the company.

In only four months of working with Rapunzel Creative, Butterfly Health and Wellness Coaching hit their one-year sales and business goals. Below are examples of some of the work created for the company.
